Well today i thought i d show you a way to think green with the box by making a simple weed barrier. A lot of the time people have the idea that in order to think green you have to think outside the box.

Use weed b gone and a weed barrier before you put any thing down. If you happen to have some on hand it will make an effective weed barrier. Some of that leftover roofing can be used in the garden to prevent. Basically we use what we have on hand.

You wouldn t want the epa on your case for burying hazardous materials. Place old asphalt shingles around plants to keep weeds from cropping up. As the weather gets warmer you may be thinking about new ways to spruce up your garden. You might love the idea of planting flowers but dread hurting your back and knees as you pull weeds every weekend.
